HI, Over the past couple for months i've been searching the internet for obdeleven coding tips/tricks on my 2024 ID3 Pro S with sw 3.7. I've come to a point where i feel like i consider the car 'done'. Before making changes, do not forget to note the original values. values may vary as there are many ID3 variants on the market. I drove thousands of km with these settings. I added v2 of the file. I updated mainly 08 - A/C and 8125 - Infotainment and some new tweaks. Hello everyone. I am very glad that my knowledge is useful for you. After driving approx. 16,000 km, I finalized the list. The last and final version v3 is here. Considering the fact that v.3.7 will most likely be final for models up to and including 2024, I consider this topic exhausted and wish everyone to enjoy their ID models safely. In the end, I discovered something else and I would like to share it with you. I have added the new version v4. |

Easy open, easy close can be activated even for cars without the option? Like Travell assist?

Great list of setting modifications! Thanks for sharing! I think I'll definitely try out "Set the blower display in AUTOmode" and "Set automatic windshield defrost"
I'm wondering do you have any resources you would recommend for learning more about this type of settings coding? I'm trying to learn some more before tinkering with more advanced settings.
Additionally any more information you can share about what the goal and effect of your changes to unit A5 for 'Set driver assistance intervention mode' and 'Set more drivers assistance from the navigation' as well as for unit 13 for "Set ACC parameters to drive more effectively and enable more assistance".

Generaly, I was not satisfied with the way how the id.3 behaves in some situations. I was not satisfied with the restrictions that VW set in the settings for the id.3 model (compared to other models). I also wanted to get the maximum out of the id.3. I wanted to take a closer look at it and I experimented with many different changes and the document is the result.
information sources are mainly internet forums for id.3, id.4 but also for similar models like Cupra, etc. Finally, my own experimentation with "reverse engineering" and testing.
I've tried many more changes than what is in the document. Only those changes that had a positive impact are listed in the document (in my subjective opinion).

Hi jozefr, your comprehensive list on possible modifications is very useful. Some modifications I applied on my own ID.3 and they worked, but one didn’t. It was the “Activate easy close function (Easy Exit)” I did all the changes you mentioned and it didn’t work and there was no behaviour change. Though when I was modifying the adaptation, one thing was odd “Unterdrueckung_zyklischer_Suchen_bei_entriegeltem_Fahrzeug_aktiv‘ was on my car already set to “not activated” unlike what your pdf said. It was the only deviation form your instruction. My 4 questions to you: Have you activated this feature yourself on your ID.3? Has it worked immediately after changing the adaptations? How far do you have the leave your car for it to lock itself? Did you copy this from the ID.4 forum? (Bc maybe that’s the problem it didn’t work for me?) I hope you and your answers can help me, because it’s my second most wanted feature besides Travel assist (already have), which I always wanted. Well it may have something to do with my software version. My car is currently running ID.Software 3.2. The Day after Tomorrow, I’ll go to my Dealership and ask them if they can update my car to 3.7.
