Hi guys I have 2020 Golf Style and it has the 30 bit ambient lighting. Just wondering is there any way to have some type of effect like after 5 seconds the colour changes or some pulse effect or really any type of effects maybe?

The only "effects" I have discovered in 2 years since I've activated the "feature" are: - putting on hazard lights will change all colors to amber and lines on doors will flash amber - closing the doors will put for a few seconds all lines on doors to red - opening one door will have that door's line to RED to notify it's opened. That's all about it  I wished to go red on high rpm, switch to red on "sport" mode, etc |

Nothing you can do without a SWaP. Changing colors by drive mode requires DCC and driving modes SWaP, while the interior lights flashing with hazards requires the Dynamic Ambient lighting pack which is also a SWaP.
Only thing you can do with coding is to change to 30 color selection if you don't already have it.

SWaP stands for Software as Product while FeC stands for Feature enablement code. Each function has a different code and as an example Navigation has code 00040100 for MIB3.
These codes enable the system to offer features like Navi, Trafic Sign, etc.
in MK8 functions like those above (Navi, TSR and much more) are protected and cannot be installed. Even though you cannot install Swap/Fec with OBD11.

You have everything to run the feature but not the "licence". You pay for the code, VW unlocks it. Impossible to enable by coding changes.
