Hi everyone,
someone has tried a module to disable start-stop?
Have you a suggested one?
Have you a step-by-step to install it?
PS. I try to disable start-stop by software:
1.1.49 Deactivate start-stop system [SFD: yes]
Control unit 19 [Tested SW: 7084-7312]
Adjustments:
Slave_component_list:
Battery Monitoring Control Module: no
but I didn't find the right property.

You would need a start-stop memory module to hook up to the canbus network. Something like this would work. a.aliexpress.com/_Eu1rU1zI am not sure if somebody on the forum found a way to disble start-stop by coding changes alone... |

Friend who does car coding disabled it for me but i don't know how.
He said that he will try and if it works i don't have to pay him just gave him info so he will know for future coding to other Golf MK8.
So it can be done with coding.

The connectors in the allixpress picture looks to me like they would fit the 32 x pin connector on the Gateway module - see below. The Gateway module is item 4 in the picture below: .

I asked for instructions to the vendor but his replies are very confused.
Where is the gateway module?
Is it the one close to the OBD socket? I see a similar purple connector.

I have contacted him. He replied that there is a gateway below the steering wheel named 5WA 907 530.
You must connect it there. I have check yet. When I have everything I will.

It works!!
Now my start&stop is automatically disabled when I switch on the car.
No errors on the dashbosrd, nothing to do on the software side.
Watch out for the purple locker, it's very tiny and you need a screw driver to release it because the fix system is very hard.
I have broken the One on the module, but... It works!
I hope it does not give me any surprice.
