Please help how to adapt please. please please hmm..I'm a bit confused, but try this to enable Scandinavian DRLs: And if you already have Scandanavian DRLs and you want to turnoff something, then please ask again but using different words. Thankyou for replying! I have enabled the tail-lights using the method above. But the issue i have is, the dashboard backlights(ie-the numbers/lights behind the RPM guage) are permanently enabled after activating scandanavian lights/or thru the DRL adaptation. What the stock function is, when the lights are one O mode(ie-completely off) the dashboard lights do not turn on in the night time. Im trying to get that effect with having the tail lights on. I need to know the adaptation to turn OFF the dashboard backlights or insturment cluster backlight.

^^^ are you happy to use the low-beams as DRLs -instead of the current lights? If so, then the following simple tweak will illuminate the tails as DRLs without affecting the dashboard lighting (see the last option in the last screen-shot) Don

Isnt there any other way just to turn the dash backlight off completely? Im going to try the above and check it out. I love how the dash only lights up the gauges only but also the DRL itself. How i want it- DRL on in front, tailight on and dashboard light off. Help someone!!!

Help someone!!! yohannimb: I wrote-up tweak instructions to change the dashboard lighting (but using VCDS) HERETo turn-off the cluster lights, the relevant channels in the dashboard module (@ address hex17) that need to be set to 00 are: dimming_characteristic_curve_adjustment_clock_dial_day-Y1 dimming_characteristic_curve_adjustment_clock_dial_day-Y2 dimming_characteristic_curve_adjustment_clock_dial_day-Y3 dimming_characteristic_curve_adjustment_clock_dial_day-Y4 dimming_characteristic_curve_adjustment_clock_dial_day-Y5 dimming_characteristic_curve_adjustment_clock_dial_day-Y6 BUT (and there is always a "but"), the access code 20103 must be accepted by the module for this tweak - so later Dashboard modules don't like these tweak instructions.
