Hey guys,

I bought obd eleven with the pro package and i managed to do some coding already. I disabled seat belt warning and start stop without any issues.

Now i would like to code dynamic tail lights but i cant find any of the coding segments needed.
I googled for hours already and everyone is saying that u need to go to the 09 - central electrics then to adaptions and there you search for the Leuchte19BLK HRC31 and Leuchte18BLK HLA60.
Sadly there are non of these Leuchte showing up for me.
I am using the OBDeleven VAG app on iOS.
Are these functions only available on the android version or why arent they listed for me?
In the normal OBDeleven app i can not acces any coding since its showing that i am only on the free version, which makes no sense since i got 1 year pro and on the VAG app it shows also correctly that i am Pro member.

Id be glad if anyone can help me out so i can code the lights.

My audi a5 is from 2019 and has led rear lights so it should work or not?
Front blinker lights are not led but since i want to code the tail lights i dont think this should matter and be a problem, right?

Hmm....... let's first deal with your objective regarding dynamic tail-lights!
The 2 x Leuchte-sets that you identify are originally from VAG vehicles that are built on a MQB or, later MQB-evo platform. This car is built with a MLB-evo platform. Very different !!

Alas, you will NOT find either of the 2 x Leuchte-sets on your central electrics module (in fact you won't find ANY Leuchte-sets in the 09-module in this car)!

Also, even if this car DID manage the operation of the exterior lights with Leuchte-sets (again, it doesn't) - creating dynamic turn-signals is NOT possible by coding changes alone!

Yes, LED style lamps are required for dynamic turn-signal operation - however "normal" LED tail-lights are missing the LED "chaser" circuits that provide sequential illumination of individual lamps in the LED string. So, dynamic turn-signal fittings contain additional electronic equipment for the lighting effect!!

As for your more-general question about accessing coding - since this car has an "evo" platform, I'm guessing that access to key module is protected by the newer SFD protocol. If you are not familiar with SFD, I suggest that you read -HERE See my later post below - not sure about this claim

So, when considering coding changes that you may find on the net, maybe take note of the the VAG model and build year of the donor information and how it compares with your car.

In some instances, it is possible to apply coding changes across VAG models - but in the main, coding instructions will be vehicle specific!!

First of all thanks for your detailed answer my friend.
I did not know that with the MLB-evo. I mean i was having a bit of a feeling but i hoped it would not be true, sadly it is :/

So is there even any way for me to code it or do i need to built in some module first? I was also thinking of trying to find an experienced coder and just let him do it but since i like the materia and i am always up onto learning new things id like to do it myself.

I've just checked a few SCAN reports on the net and I'm now not sure if an Audi A5 F5 does have SFD.

The vehicles that I have been able to find - which are mostly North America Region (NAR) models, do NOT appear to have SFD!

Here's an example of my observation:

Refer to the VCDS scan for a NAR Audi A5 F5 - HERE (look only at the SCAN - ignore the "maps" and the remaining data on this web-page)

Normally on VCDS scans, the word "SFD" appears in the VCID line on those individual modules that have this protection
Here is an example of a module that has SFD (this module is from an Audi Q4 etron 2022 -from Netherlands):
