As the dev are not back in till Friday.
Go to control unit 19, then select INFO and tell us what the ODX Name is or if that is difficult just confirm that the name contains UNECE
If it does then your car is protected by SFD2 (https://forum.obdeleven.com/thread/22173/car-covered-sfd2?page=1&scrollTo=92781) which currently OBD11 does not support.

Yes fully understand that but the OP has already posted his backup to this thread (such as it is).
Just setting expectations and looking forward to an update on when you guys think SFD2 Might be resolved.

Thank you for that I am afraid that does not tell us that your car is SFD2 Protected based on the ODX File name (which is what we think can be used).
Could you confirm when your car was built and also is yours a Petrol/Diesel or Hybrid motor (just in case that makes a difference)

There is no such a thing like SFD2. It's updates in firmware because of GSR Cyber security requirements.

admits its sometimes called “SFD2,
In any event you will agree currently it does not work via any diagnostic tool, do you have an update when it might be sorted and would you agree with what support told us that you can use the ODX Name to identify it has this latest version or is there a better way.

We are working on it and new cars will be able soon.
In that page there is mentioned that "This new layer of protection, sometimes called “SFD2”, this came from users all around the world.
Yes, as far what we found, cars that have that new security feature have "UNECE" in gateway ODX name.

We still working on this. Diagnostic is now should be fully working for new cars. Does it mean we can read all control units?
