2019 Golf R - North America (Canada)
Background
2nd owner, was not aware of all mods and adaptations done when purchased from dealership.
During a cold snap this winter car would not start, thought it was battery so replaced with new. Ended up going to shop where Starter Assist Module was replaced. When returned all adaptations were gone (not sure if battery removal or shop caused this). Knew the OBDeleven was what I needed to adjust these.
Aftermarket dynamic LED tail lights (VLand come up on product number search) after car returned from the shop for the work noted above the fluid turn signals did not work and acted as a running light and turn signal functions were on the brake light portion.
Did some research on coding and came across the DAP harness OCA. But also found other info saying that there was no record of changes in case it did not work out so did a bit more looking around and thought I found the info that I need.
I have been able to get the dynamic turn signals, brake lights and other items working correct (I believe). But I am having trouble getting the tail lights to operate correctly.
I cannot fiqure out how to get them to not be on in DRL mode and only in "Full Mode". Also noticed the brakes do not seem to get brighter. Hoping it is some simple fixes. I am overlooking.
I have screenshots of the current settings, will post once I fiqure out how to.
