I’m was following along with an old post but when I get to Leuchte12NL LB45, I get a “There are no items available for this option” How do I resolve this? I’ve checked and I do have the physical pins for 5 and 45.

what type and model and build year is this car? what type of lamps in the new fog-light fittings?
Enter "Leuchte12" into the search box on OBD11 software and take a screenshot - then post-up the picture

hmm......... the reason for the message is because you are NOT connected to the car via the OBD11 dongle - you have selected the Vehicle option (see the bottom of the screen in your picture).
The Vehicle function in OBD11 is a kind-of Off-line facility that accesses historic information about your use of the device. Importantly for your problem, the Vehicle option does NOT connect to the dongle that you MUST first plug-into the OBD port on the car.
Instead, do this: - Ignition-ON, engine-OFF
- Plug-in the OBD11 dongle into the OBD port on the car (which is located under the dash near the steering wheel on an Audi A3 8V)
- If the dongle is correctly seated into the OBD port socket, the LED light-tube around the dongle-housing should illuminate red
- Fire-up the OBD11 software on your iPhone -which will open in the Home screen (do NOT select any other tab at the bottom of the screen)
- Follow the instructions HERE

I’ve done that process, but the password/create a password does not pop up for me, other than that it says it’s connected and can scan the car. However the bottom right hand side shows a square instead of the three lines in the link you’ve told me to follow, not sure if that’s an indicator of the problem?

I figured it out, I deleted the app and reinstalled it and everything works like it’s suppose too. I did this yesterday but it didn’t work for whatever reason, I appreciate the help though!
