I had my infotainment unit in my mk7.5 updated. Pre update, when I put it in reverse I would see the overhead view of the car overlaid over the rear view camera. Now I see this... 2024-03-04_01-04-34 by Z R, on Flickr And if I tap on the "menu" button, I get the overhead view again, like this... 2024-03-04_01-04-25 by Z R, on Flickr Does anyone know the coding to change the infotainment to default to the view like in the 2nd pic? (With overhead view overlaid) I have both VAG COM and ODBeleven. Thank you

hmm........ if the ONLY thing that has changed between the 2 x pictures in your post has been stuff relating to the 5F module - then maybe check the following adaptation channel values:
Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2:• VPS_0x0B > activated • VPS_0x0B_msg_bus: > Comfort data bus I've seen variations in the setting for the second channel above including Terminal 15 and Databus Infotainment

that coding (VPS_0x0B) is only for high cams He got low, dont change that to active. Is Byte 19 Bit 4 activated in 5F?
That Camera lines look quite like the cam is a replica and not OEM VW, is it?

Many years ago (2017?) when I was playing with my camera I must have found it (either with playing with settings, or on here) and wrote it in my notes, I didn’t like the full screen as much so changed it back It was under RVC overlay on/off, also swapped the programming from high to low because I didn’t like the camera on under 10mph (or whatever it was), BUT YOU HAVE TO RESET THE RADIO, by pressing and holding on/off for 10 seconds otherwise it won’t work

Well, I checked out 5F today. I am not super proficient with ODBELEVEN as I spent much more time on a VAG COM. This is what I see for byte 16 in 5F. Not sure how to denote bit 7. Screenshot_20240430-150343_OBDeleven by Z R, on Flickr

See the 0/1 in the top right? Click that, then there’s a row of numbers in 2’s scroll across until the first box (byte) underneath says 16, then scroll down to bit 7 and untick it, then write it to the car, then reset the radio

Worked like a charm. The overhead view is now displayed by default when I put it in reverse, no more need to press a "menu" button after selecting reverse. Thank you all.
