So I have updated my firmware and multimedia its all working well. BUTI have the error "B201A - Checking SVM" My old code is c80 My new code is c552 i used mib-helper.com/im-so-xory/?key=c80This is from the 5F, adaptation channel: Confirmation of installation change using obdeleven. I do the new number and hit save and the screen bottom goes into a loop lasting forever saying "writing..." What am i doing wrong. Bonnet or hood is popped. Tried with engine on and off. Reset phone, car, obdeleven module Nothing seems to fix this.

Why did the B201A error appear? What's the backstory for the error? What changes were made to the 5F module? Are there ANY other errors on this car?

hmm......... the B201A error is "intermittent' ? Strange!! Have you tried simply clearing the error?

I think the procedure is clear error, put in new number, clear error then all sorted, and the number reverts to original
