hi there, please does anyone has a solution for cockpit and black screen turn on and off by itself, today i started my golf mk8 and my infotainement system freezes out by itself i tried that holding power button for 10sec but it didnt worked! then i pressed the view button on the streeing wheel then the cockpit also turned to a black screen!!! what i can do about please?? |

A good start might be to go to your local VW dealer and have them investigate. They will be able to do a diagnostic scan of the car with their scan tool, and most likely that will reveal the cause of the problem. You can then have them fix it, or fix it yourself if you have the knowledge necessary to so so.

I got the same problem. After driving it suddenly went black with the next error:
U122F00 - Ethernet cable branch 4
Anyone that had the same problem or knows a solution?

Same here! I drove from Croatia to Romania in one shot and after 10h of driving everything went black. Seems like a reboot of the units. I ignored them as it's a VW  After 2h or so the same thing happened again. And so on. I've spoken with the dealer and he said there's nothing wrong. |

Hi. Seemed like a reboot of the units. I didn't stop 'coz I was on the highway but after about 30seconds everything came back to normal. I went to the dealer a couple of days later, they scanned the car and found nothing. Even OBD11 found 'no errors" after I arrived home |
