ERROR U015100 Lost communication with restraints control mod

Hi all... First time user here so I hope I'm in the right place.

Was in the Mrs car yesterday and noticed that she had a light on her dash for her "electromechanical parking brake" and "air bag" light was on. She said that was the first time she had noticed it :/

Dropped the code reader on and there was a load of codes listed. There were none a month ago when I last checked so I'm guessing 1 error has caused all the others.

My first thought was the battery was weak... so put a new battery on this afternoon however this hasn't fixed it.

I haven't been able to code the battery to the car as I don't have a Pro licence.

The parking brake appears to be functional.

Does anyone have a clue where I start with r
These errors. Is it likely to be the battery not being coded or have I got a proper problem here?
