I don’t know if I messed up big time or not. I did not do a backup before changing things as I didn’t realize I had to manually do that. I activated “drl’s with fog lights” using the one touch app. That ended up not working for me and I couldn’t get the fog lights to turn on at all. So I proceeded to turn it off. After completing the action I checked the fog lights again and still nothing I have no light errors either. I was wondering if there is a way I can get the stock coding for the fog light under the central electronics. Car as a 2019 Gti se with lighting package

Andrew: Hi. No - I very much doubt that you "messed up big time"!
My suggestion is that you do NOT use One Click Apps (OCAs) because they leave no record of what changes they make to your car. If the OCA works OK, this is not a problem - but if the secret changes go pear-shape, unwinding the amendments can be problematic (as you have discovered!!). The code-cutters on the OBD11 mother-ship do their best to see if the OCA is suitable for your car before making changes - but these tests are not always successful. Hence my warning. Using OCAs is really a bit of a gamble - IMO, of course!!
I assume that the ONLY issue with this car is the front fog-lights and I also assume that you have a PRO account. If I'm correct, I need to see the state of the "Leuchte-set" for the fog-lights on both left and right car sides. If you do NOT have a PRO account - alas there is nothing that can be done because you are not able to make manual coding changes - maybe contact the help-desk?
If you are not aware, a Leuchte-set is simply a bunch of 19 x adaptation channels that live in the 9-central electrics module. The reason why I call these "Leuchte-sets" is because each channel starts with the name "Leuchte" (which means "light" in German). Each of your car's 35 x exterior lamps is controlled by a Leuchte-set and likely the OCA modified the Leuchte-sets for the fog-light lamps.
So, do this (please) - go to the central electrics module on the Control Units screen - then select Adaptation - then search for the following 2 x Leuchte-sets: - Leuchte12NL LB45
- Leuchte13NL RB5
Take a picture of the screens and post a copy here on another post. To be clear, I need to see the values of ALL 19 x adaptation channels for each Leuchte-set in your screenshots. Once I see the state of these Leucte-sets, we can discuss how to unwind the changes that have been made.

Andrew: hmm............ ain't nothing particularly wrong with the coding on the Leuchte-sets. I assume that that these fog-lights have LED type lamps - because that's how they are coded The only minor change is: - Leuchte13NL RB5-Lichtfunktion A 13 > Nebellicht rechts
However, as coded, the fog-lights should operate with DRLs (during the day) and as fog-lights after dark when the center turret on the rotary light switch is pulled-out one notch! So, if the lamps in the fog-lights don't work, something else is causing the problem. Let's look at your History file - this records details of ALL the changes made against your OBD11 account. Do this: - Fire-up OBD11 software (no need to connect to the car)
- On the opening screen - select Garage (lower left part of screen)
- If you have registered multiple cars against your account - select the correct vehicle
- Scroll down the page and select History
- Follow the screenshots below:
- On the 2nd screen - select. Apps, Adaptation, Coding, Coding ll, Long coding
- When you receive the email that you sent to yourself (last screen) - transfer the contents to a file and add to a new post (as an attachment - preferred)

Hopefully you can figure this out. I'm PRAYING!!!! (yes they are the factory led fogs with facelift lighting package) I should also note I activated taillights as brake lights and that didn't work. I have yet to turn if off with oca I also have "emergency braking" activated (oca). Other than that no light coding.(Besides trying to fix fogs) Which you will see anyways in the history. Andrew: Alas, nothing obvious in your History log that suggests why the problem is happening. The records basically confirm the coding in your Leuchte-set screenshots. I assume that a SCAN of this car shows NO errors - so the car is happy to not operate the fog-lights!
Given the content of your History log, I suspect that the cause of this problem is in one of the OCAs that were implemented and then unwound
My final suggestion is to post-up a back-up of the central electrics module - but I have low expectation!
