Hello, Has anyone replaced a battery in a 2019 Atlas SE with an aftermarket battery (Interstate) from Costco and completed the battery adaptation in ODBeleven Pro? I purchased a new Interstate Battery last week. I just purchased an ODBeleven Pro Pack from Amazon yesterday. Can someone please confirm my mockup of the parameter settings needed for my battery adaption? For Battery Manufacturer should I use "INT" for Interstate or "UNK" for Unknown? For Battery Technology I was told to use FLEECE. Is there anything else I need to do for the start/stop or any clearing in ODBeleven? I would actually like to turn off start/stop it's so annoying! Should I make a backup first before I start anything and save my Atlas computer settings before I make any changes? With my PRO PACK do I receive any credits? Thanks, Steve

Unless you got a special deal (they do these from time to time) then no the standard Pro Package does not come with Credits.
From my personal understanding the Battery manufacturer is an irrelivant bit of information so would leave it as it was, the important part is the Serial Number is different to the previous one.
Screen shot looks good to me
You should always do a backup before starting coding as it makes it much easier to undo if you have issues
Stop Start I dont think you can code this off on your car as VW Turned off the old coding options. You can however buy a Stop Start Memory Module for very small money and this basically remembers your previous state so that you can turn it off full time but still use the switch to put it back on again if you so desire.

Thank you for your response whataboutthis . Yesterday I tested on my 2020 VW GTI SE which is another car I plan to take advantage of OBDeleven. When creating backups there are two methods right? I tested creating a Full backup, but you can also create a backup per control unit? Should I do both methods for a backup? Are there any tutorials on how to do this correctly? Are the backups saved up to the cloud under my user account? How do I restore settings from a full backup or just one backup of a control unit? I have seen mixed feedback on purchasing apps to perform software upgrades to your car. Should you only do long coding, manually entering every Byte/HEX value? How do you find the long coding directions for example if I attempted to turn off start/stop on the 2019 VW Atlas SE? (I know you said it's not possible but thought I would do some research first) Sorry for all the questions and thank you for all the help.

There is no right or wrong way to do backups unless you have a couple specific Audi 4x4 monsters where there can be issues with the electronic roof. Before you start on the car do a FULL Backup that way you have a copy of the car as it came to you. Yes all your backups are stored on OBD11 Cloud servers and can be access from your app via the History Tab. Once you then start making modifications I personally just do a backup of the control unit I am going to code against. And then every now and then Do a full backup just for completeness. check out support.obdeleven.com/en/?q=full+backup for how to do full backup on IOS and Android check out support.obdeleven.com/en/articles/5608806-backup for control unit backup on Android and support.obdeleven.com/en/articles/5627084-backup-of-control-unit for IOS And for the OBD11 WIKI page. To restore adaptation settings using your backup you will have to compare old and new backups to see all the changes and then manually revert them, For Long coding changes you can cut and past the old long coding string in one simple go. One Click Apps have a mixed reception, many people (myself included) have used them with not problems, Many people have used them and had issues because they did not read the blurb on the app (typically this is for US Cars only type thing) and then there are genuine bugs in the code, Never had that but have seen a number of people who say they spoke to support and got the issue fixed but others say not. If you have Pro i would always recommend doing the coding yourself (start on simple stuff and work your way up). As to where you find coding just do a search on google for obd11 or vcds coding for your car, you should also find a forum for your make model and obviously check out this forum for others examples. My warning is as with all computer systems is take your time, dont rush and do 10 changes in one day as it can be difficult to work out what is causing any issues you might have. The other place to help you with what changes you have made (so you can reverse them if you get error codes) is the History tab this shows you all the changes you have made to both Adaptations and Long coding in a nice time line and for long Coding on Android you can actually see what Bit was changed so if there are descriptions then you can be happy what you are reverting Hope that helps.

Great answers whataboutthis. And to tackle one feature slowly at a time makes sense in case something goes wrong you can pinpoint what you did and revert just that control module. After doing some research in the OBDeleven forum I did find a possible Start/Stop solution for my wife's VW Atlas 2109 SE: Turn off auto start-stop: CONTROL UNITS >GATEWAY >ADAPTATIONS >START/STOP START VOLTAGE LIMIT Then I changed the value from 7.6V to 12.0V. Read more: forum.obdeleven.com/thread/5677/disable-start-stop#ixzz5l4spNlZe I found this video on youtube as well: Quick update you can now buy a stop start memory module ( example ) so for those users who's car always defaults to on by fitting the module it goes back to where you had it last set, some of the newer cars have this fitted from the factory. And then after reading this, there is a module you can buy so I watched this video: The humble mechanic feels this is a safer option because of the long term impact on voltage and charging. In this video. you can buy a harness for the Atlas by B2BFAB to bypass the autostart:
