Had the DPF on my Vivaro cleaned by Auto Assist who left me with an ODB11 to plug into the data port on the van.
I do not have a "Smart" mobile so does the operating software run on a laptop?

First question did they give you an OBDELEVEN Dongle (as they are about £30-00) or did they give you a OBD11(as in 2) dongle which are cheap as chips.
I have seen people do it but its not just a download and use process you have to run other software to make it look like a mobile device or have a MAC with the correct sort of chip in it (non intel). If you search on this forum you will find how others have done it.
If you phone is running Android 8 and above you should be able to use it.
