Messed with some things, unaware to the fact that you need a backup. They really should add an initial message when you connect.

audis1vwtroc : Hi. Alas, I don't have a "backup copy of a 2023 R-line Troc". However, if you want to persist in this pursuit - you might want narrow-down your request to a particular module (this might be more successful than requesting a back-up for the entire car) Anyway, and whilst acknowledging the importance of creating a back-up of ALL modules in the car BEFORE making coding changes - there is an alternative solution to your dilemma! By this I mean that the information that you need is actually stored on your OBD11 account
I'm not sure if you are aware of OBD11's History function - it's a facility that records ALL coding changes that you make and it saves both the "old value" and the "new value". The change database from History is kept against your account on OBD11's central servers. The information is readily accessible to users - precisely to resolve the type of problems that you have described. To access the records in History, do this (I assume that you are using iOS software): - Fire-up OBD11 software - no need to connect to the car
- On the opening screen - select Garage at the bottom of the screen
- If you have multiple cars registered against your account - select the car in question
- Select History (it's the first option) - you should get the first screenshot below
 - On the first screen above, select the "filter" symbol as shown
- On the second screen above, de-select unwanted information
- Either read the return data directly from the third screen above - or select the "send" symbol and send yourself an email which will include the complete change database (which you can print, or view on a larger screen).
Here's an example of the type of records from History for both adaptation channel change and long-code change (my bolding): --------------------------------------------------------------- Long coding Control unit: 5F Multimedia Old value: 417351080000000011511102000A00102F0027E601700104 5E New value: 417351080000000011511102000A00102F0027E601700104 1E Mileage: 56577 km Date: 2023-01-15 16:07:36 --------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------- Adaptation Control unit: 5F Multimedia Name: Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2 Values: menu_display_road_sign_identification: Old value: not_activated New value: activated Mileage: 56577 km Date: 2023-01-15 15:48:43 --------------------------------------------------------------- Notice that each History record contains complete details that will allow the coding change to be reverted back-to the original setting!!
So - to solve your problem, return EACH instance of new value back to old value in EACH History record. This is not a difficult process - but it is important that you carefully progress through each record in a METHODICAL, step-by-step manner.
After you have completed the procedure above - make a back-up!!
