Hi. I just purchased OBD eleven Pro,and used it to clear some error codes - which it did perfectly. But, I bought some credits to try some one click apps. The first one I tried was the easy entry app, which eventually installed - after I realised I had to open the bonnet (hood), and then reset the head unit. Now I have a new menu function in settings for seats, with the options to apply easy entry to driver or passenger seat, but hen I select them I get the error message 'this function not available' Have I done something else wrong? Do I need to do something else to activate it?

Hi,
I tried activating Easy entry today and it works on the driver's seat. In the vehicle settings - seats, options for choosing a passenger or driver have been added, but after clicking, it says that they are not currently available and that empty boxes cannot be checked.

I have done the same. I have had contact with odbeleven helpdesk but to no avail in solving the problem. For now it seems the passenger seat will not work for anyone. Hope they get it working soon! 😊

Update : after deleting the changes and re enter Several times, I have finally got it to work. Sometimes. What seems to have worked for me was to have the seats moved a long way forward when entering the coding. When I did that, both seats started to work. However, when I use the seat memory button to move the seats back, they stop working until I manually move the seats again. It’s all very strange…..

Sounds interesting.
But this was with the one click app option? Or was this hard coded? Did the option in the menu appear and they where clickable? And do i understand correct that if you move the seats back they stop working with easy entry? To me that means it's still not working I guess?
I'll try
deactivating: passenger easy entry
Then passenger seat move forward
Activate passenger easy entry again
Then use memory position 1 to move back
And see if use will work...
Lets see, I'll keep you posted!

Hi,
Has anyone tried easy entry 2 yet? I tested it today, but it doesn't work for me. Even the seat settings have disappeared from the infotaiment. If anyone tries, please let me know.

I tried it a couple of times with the passenger seat completely to the front. Doesn't work for me. So, for now, still no working easy entry for passenger seat. I hope someone figures it out soon! 🤞🏻

Hi,
So today I tried it again. I plugged the device into the port, turned on the ignition, opened the hood, turned on easy entry v2, and restarted the multimedia, and the driver's seat works perfectly. It can even be selected in the settings of the vehicle - seat - driver's seat in multimedia.

Hmm you calling it v2 implies your responding in the wrong forum. In the newer after 2022 kodiaq there is no v2 easy entry option.
Ive tried all the above... Still not working

I have a Kodiaq RS made in 2024, which is newer than yours, and currently there are versions 1,2,3.

Interesting rs version is probably different, i have a 2023 sportline... Passenger easy entry app has now disappeared from the list...

I am communicating with support and we are testing different versions. I believe that they will manage to solve it so that it works correctly and can also be set from multimedia. They add and remove versions that they appear to be editing. So it is possible that when I wrote there were versions 1,2,3 and now I only see easy entry there.

Hi, In my opinion, it has already stopped being solved. The result is that it only works on the driver's side, which is quite sufficient for me. It doesn't work at all for you? We also have an Audi Q7 2023 with memory seats and it doesn't work there at all since production, so we're still doing well  |
