I have a first generation dongle with lifetime Pro Vag. It has always had long coding available until the latest firmware update. It now appears the pro version has been downgraded to standard version. I feel that Voltas is trying to get me to buy the latest system with Pro Subscription. I will buy VCDS instead. Very disappointed. Now obdeleven is little more than a scanner!

With regards to your issue i have a lifetime pro and use both first gen and second gen devices and they both do the same on my VAG Motor.
You should raise your issue with Support as they may be able to fix it.

Firtsly just in case you are not aware the VOLTAS IT legal company Has now been re named as OBDELEVEN I wasn't aware of the this (I always rely on you for the latest news!!  ). When you say "legal company" - do you mean that VOLTAS-IT is no more, or did they just create an intervening legal entity called OBDELEVEN as a means of separating the old company?
If the latter, we can speculate why!! Maybe a prelude to OBD11 becoming a public company (and making lots of money for the founding shareholders) - perhaps?

2023-12-05 Name has changed from UAB "Voltas IT" to UAB OBDeleven.
2023-12-05 The goals of the legal entity's activities have been changed.
2023-12-07 The chairman of the board changed or information about him changed.
2023-12-07 The legal entity's manager has changed.
Information source: State Registers Centre. Information about VAT codes - State Tax Inspectorate. EVRK2 - State Data Agency.
All the legal stuff on website is now in the name of UAB Obdeleven
And then we have the rebranding exercise

Pro in the last couple years has always been a license issue, unless you are one of the original members then you get the lifetime pro license that does not (currently) need to be renewed.
