Hi, I just bought a new 2024 Jetta SE with the 8 inch digital cockpit. Unfortunately the vast majority of the OBD11 apps are not working in this model. For example even though Jettas in the US now come standard with Lane keep and Assist, collision prevention, ACC, etc, so they are equipped with front facing cameras I can’t enable the Auto High Beams, via the app or via manual Adaptation/Coding. I’m not sure if there are big changes now that it comes with the 8 inch cockpit rather than the large 10 inch. Anyone else experiencing the same with this model?

In reference to my previous post, I'm uploading a picture of how the 8 inch digital cockpit looks like in my 2024 Jetta SE (from the US). Many of the ODBEleven apps are not working with this 8 inch dashboard.

I’m no wizard with this stuff by any means, but when you say, “not working”, what exactly do you mean? I’ve had issues where it will say ‘function not allowed’ or something along those lines. I was able to get it to work doing a couple of things: - Make sure the hood is open. To some, this may seem obvious, but it was not to me. So this tip helped. The user that helped me put it in perspective by saying that it needs to be in “service “ mode. That is generally when the hood is open.
- You may need to restart the process after a successful part of the needed steps. I was trying for weeks to set up the dipping mirrors when shifting into reverse feature. I could enable one part of the process, but the second part always failed until I closed the hood, shut down the car, took a short break and started the second part of the process again. Then it worked!
I hope some of those tips help. Don’t give up. Just take a break and try again later with a fresh set of eyes and maybe some new information from the Internet. Also, check out the Jetta Reddit. It’s quite active and most folks like to help. Good luck!

I agree with what milehighmike said.. I just got the same car a few weeks ago, after having a 2020 I replaced..and I'm a bit familiar with the devices.. one thing you want to do is make sure you pop the hood if the app calls for it. They recently put that update out a couple months back... I tried the green screen and it worked once with this car, but I didn't have time to mess around...then it would never work unless I popped my hood.. just take your time and read thru. Good luck
