Didn‘t you hear the story where the wife used sometimes her husbands car? Went bad because the driving profile was still on sport and she used it like normal. This is just one reason.
Cold start an Sportmode isn’t that good either. And there is this WLTP too. But you can ask a search engine, i am sure it will answer your questions.
