Hi guys, 1st time posting, hope you can help. Just picked up 2023 Passat R line estate, wanted to use some of the OBD apps for high beam assist, and other little tweaks but every time I try them I get an error which says ‘error check ignition and try again’ I’ve tried these with ignition off, ignition on and ignition on with engineer running, same error code every time. Also had an error which says not supported.
Can I’m not a mechanic and bought the one for basic tweaks on my Audi A4 which has worked a treat, but it doesn’t do anything with the Passat, any ideas?

Well everything worked with the exception of high beam assist which threw the same error..?

Well everything worked with the exception of high beam assist which threw the same error..? you may need to do it manually. I programmed it myself in my b8 from 2021 |

Awesome could you possibly provide instructions.. it’s such a great feature, had it on the Skoda superb and it was awesome

Awesome could you possibly provide instructions.. it’s such a great feature, had it on the Skoda superb and it was awesome Highbeam Assist: -> STG 09 --> Login: 31347 ---> Adaption ----> Fernlichtassistent (Highbeam assist) -----> Menuesteuerung Fernlichtassistent Werkseinstellungen from "not installed" to "installed" -----> Menuesteuerung Fernlichtassistent from "not installed" to "installed" -----> Erweiterte_Fernlichsteuerung to "AFS:FLA:BCM-Fernlicht" -> STG 5A --> Coding ---> Byte 21 Bit 5-7 to Fernlichtassistent / High Beam assist For this coding the big camera is needed! Big Camera = traffic sign recognition, lane assist, dynamic light assist |

Ok so the first STG 09 part worked a treat
However I don’t have STG 5A, I have STG A5 (driver assistance) when I try long coding byte 21 bit 5-7 I only have option on or off but each time I try and turn on it says option not available
Now when I try to use HBA by pushing headlight flash it’s comes up with “fault light assist” it’s like it’s almost done but the STG 5A part is the issue, any advice?

Now wondering if I need to enable dynamic light assist as I’m not sure this is on either?
