Hello Everyone, I have a 2010 Mk6 golf 2.5 that has direct TPMS. I would like to change it to indirect TPMS.
I have read it can be done with VagCom.
Can this be done with OBDELEVEN?

The Following link shows how it can be done with VagCom... tinyurl.com/y7lnw45jIf it can be done with VagCom can this be done with OBDELEVEN? My sister just got new tires for the VW I said in the first post was mine and I would like to have them installed with a working indirect TPMS... If I cant make it work I will fork over the $100 for the new direct TPMS Sensors before I have those new tires installed (which I would rather avoid).... we are currently on the clock being that her current tires are shot, one of her current tires even has a bubble on it!

TPMS Reset from 5.5 bar to 2.6 bar or turn off TPMS using OBDEleven Today 05:35 AM #1054 Hi everyone, I have searched and was only able to find VAG COM instructions. I am thinking of purchasing one of these but wanted to make sure it could do the "long coding" I need to update this common problem with the TPMS in my 2010 GTI I am attaching the symptom and the fix using VAG COM but does anyone have instructions/steps on how to perform this using the OBDEleven? Thank you for all your assistance. Great group of helpful folks here... www.myturbodiesel.com/wiki/fl...ecment-mk6-vw/ Charles

Yes, OBDeleven can do the long coding that VCDS does for all modules that support it.
I'm alarmed that your TPMS is set to 5.5 bar. I didn't know that such a high value was possible.

It is a known defect from VW that it just resets to 5.5 bars randomly. Do you have instructions on how to perform the Long Coding? Is that something you can help me with? Thank you.
