I have the following dtc on my 2016 mk7 golf R: My car has no air blowing into the foot wells. I know it's a common issue dealing with the flap motors in these cars. I've checked and replaced all three motors and they're working as expected. I've run the manual reset from the dash and my obdeleven. The only thing I can think of remaining is a problem with the flap itself. Anyone dealt with this issue?

Hi Don. Thanks for the reply.
I've tried the manual calibration/reset both through the method you posted and through my obdeleven device. The problem persists.

Ok.
Since the AC module is complaining about a jammed flap - maybe check if the flaps are moving correctly.
The way to do this is to select Live Data on the hex08 module with OBD11 software. Enter "flap" into the search box and you should see a bunch of measurements that can be made when you press the buttons on the facia-plate.
Of course, the actual measurements that can be made will vary with the type of AC module that's installed in this car. However in general, you should be able to confirm that the reading change as you open/close the different flaps

When I look through the live data and change air flow, the front air distribution flap, actual value remains 26% and 0 while the specified value changes.
I believe that tells me the flap isn't moving.

Order new flapmotor. Pretty common Golf 7 failure.
