Hi All,
My golf mk7 2015 currently on aftermarket headunit,android HU. Would like to check if Helix subwoofer is compatible with an aftermatket head unit?

syafiqfox:Hi. Wow - what an impossibly general question!!! By definition, "aftermarket headunit, android HU" is non OEM equipment which means that each manufacturer's product is different! So it's anyone's guess how the new head-unit in this car was designed. I suspect that the ONLY way to answer your question is to contact the manufacturer of the un-named "aftermarket headunit"!! Don

Nit sure if Helix uses fiber optic connection, if it does like Dynaudio or Fender then you will need a decoder box a.aliexpress.com/_oFCiFca

The Helix sub is coupled with the Quadlock connector (power and signal to/from the DSP amp). So no optic connection.
