I’m attempting to register my new battery but keep receiving this error “procedure can’t be completed, sequence error “. I entered thru gateway19, then adaptations, then battery adaptations, then entered amps 80, manufacturers unk, type binary AGM, serial #1234567890, then “slide to write” and received “incorrect sequence “ error. Does anyone have a work around?

A few months ago obdeleven shared some info on how to process a battery replacement with a blog post obdeleven.com/how-to-change-and-register-a-car-batteryand a youtube video as well You can always try and ask the obd11 support team on what could be stopping you from executing the right sequence by showing them how you're trying to do it as well.

I would try leaving your manufacturer the same as it is currently (this value does not do anything) With regards to the serial number instead of doing what you did how about just increasing the last number by one Are you using IOS or Android phone.
Update and can you confirm what Protocol the car is running (UDS or KWS)
