Hello
Just wondering if any of you experts ever tried to long code with ACC and disable laser scanner and still able to use normal cruise control.
I have a malfunction in laser scanner (passenger side) sensor, and ACC is not working when trying to activate. But I have noticed that radar must be working because distance to vehicle in front is shown.
I have found many threads online about laser scanner being ditched with newer models, so I believe it could be deleted.
I also found a technical service bulletin ACC TSB about laser scanner malfunction repair. It could be only a software update as version I have in my unit is 0201. But before going to dealer I was thinking to temporarily disable laser scanner and use regular CC
Thank you

Yes. Do you have ODIS perhaps? Some lasers come with defects and cannot be solved with software update nor calibration by dealers. You can code it out and all of your assistances will still work as before.

1. Remove Laser from 19 Gateway installation list 2. Disable Laser from 13 ACC long coding 3. Disable Laser Scanner from A5 ZFAS long coding
Let the car sleep and check ACC functionality.
