Hi there,
I try to bleed my cooling system of my Golf 7 2.0 TDI.
The procedure with OBD11 should be the same as with VCDS:
Everything is okay, but when I try to start the procedure it shows a message like "canceled because of safety reasons" immediately after start.
(I translated it, this my not be the exact message in English).
So, what do I have to you when / before I press on "start"?
Press / release brake + clutch and then press / release accelerator pedal like in the video?
It´s not working, please help. The problem is that OBD11 doesn´t exactly say what to do after pressing start.

So, figured it out myself:
In my case (CRLB engine, 2.0 TDI) it was necessary to press both brake pedal and accelerator pedal after starting the procedure and KEEPING them pressed down all the time. If you let go the brake pedal while the procedure is running, it stops because of "safety reasons".
The procedure goes as following:
- The engine runs in idle for about 5 minutes, engine light is blinking. Nothing else happens. - After 5 minutes, the engine turns up to about 2500rpm, keeps it for about 30 seconds. - Then it goes to 3000rpm and keept it for another 30 seconds or so. - Then it falls back to 1000upm and stays there for another minute or so.
After that, you get the message "Basic setting succeeded". That´s it. Your cooling system should be free from air now.
I bear no guarantee for these instructions. Proceed at your own risk!

Hello
Does this work for 1.6 TDI (CXXB)?
Thank you!
