Hello, I have an Audi A7 2019 55 TFSI imported from Canada to Europe. I paid a large amount to convert navigation, maps, radio and MMI to EU, but they could not handle the SOS Emergency call error. The SOS button glows red, and I have the SOS error on the dash as well as a very frequent dash error beep while driving. The error is also displayed whenever the car is started. The error reported by OBDEleven is U153E00 "Recognition in mobile communications network not possible" in control unit 75 - Telematics. This is extremely irritating and unpleasant. The Audi authorized service said they could do nothing. They cannot disable the system because it is a security system. Please any ideas on how I can disable this annoying system and error, or a suggestion for a serious person who could disable the SOS system remotely for a fee. I currently have OBDEleven Pro, and can purchase the VAS5054A ODIS if needed.

I've been looking at the possibilities for a month, but so far nothing... Only in a Chinese link I found this below, and translated it into English. "4. Cars produced in 2019 will have SOS alarm prompts, but those produced in 2018 will not have them. Cars produced in 20 years have not been seen yet. In theory, the Q7 produced in 19 also has this problem. There are two ways to solve this problem: one is to replace the a8l gateway without SOS function, and the other is to use odis to refresh the firmware of the 75 emergency call module. Currently, there is no 283c firmware, but you can use the 282 firmware. After the firmware flashing starts For a few minutes, forcefully kill Odis, causing firmware flashing to fail and causing the SOS module to become invalid. Before flashing the firmware, you must first eliminate the fault code of this 75 module! This is a more important step. ! ! After deletion, enter the device installation list in the gateway's matching, and change the settings of the two emergency call modules to unencoded. Remember, there are two. Next, enter 09, coding, and change ecall or emergency call to not installed. This will disable the SOS button and light on the head. Then clear all vehicle fault codes. Lock the car and it should be gone after a while if you unlock it. If there is still a prompt, it should disappear if you continue to drive it for a few days."

You have 2 options: 1. Replace 75 module with EU version and code it back. 2. Get your SOS/75 function turned off with ODIS (no guides available, need to flash proper dataset and do coding)

I have same problem on my Audi S5. Annoying emergency all time with yellow sign on dashboard and random 'beep' sound. I did turn off Voice_over_lte, it gave me more than two month of problem resolve, but its emergency shows again after two calm month...
