Disable navigation activation on cockpit via Carplay

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone has figured out how to prevent the cockpit display from showing the map view at every CarPlay navigation event such as rerouting, bad gps signal in tunnel, or a new route (hey siri…). Sometimes I wish I could change the central view to something else, like audio or trip statistics without it ever reverting to maps.
