Hi,
I imported a Golf 8 GTE. In the steering wheel I miss ACC. I know I have radar. In the shop and with VW I can't activate.
Do you know if there is a procedure?
I found this ways.
"1) The coding is right there. Cruise_control_mode -> activate"
"2) This only works with the "classic" layout in multi function wheel. Having the "distance" key is not working for GRA in Gateway
GRA has a Swap-Code 0x10000100 is needed for GRA to work. Codings: Motor: Byte 5 Bit 5 Enable (Copied from MQB, handle with care) || Dash: Display_longitudinal_coordinator -> Enable Cruise Control"
Did it work for anyone?

If you adapted the neccesary SWaP/FoD and coded everything in A5, 03, 13, 17, 44 you might be missing something stupid in 09 Try checking the steering wheel coding in 09.
Adaptations: Multifunction steering wheel control module: - Version: ACC - Terminal status: Active with terminal 58 - Distanzregelung anfrage (FoD): Active - Speed limiter: Not active - Platform: MQB2020 Other adaptations are dependant on equipment
Multifunction steering wheel extended adaptation: - Lenkradkonfiguration: Configuration 4

Alberto:
If you presently have the feature "on a trial period", that means that the Feature Enabling Code (FEC) that enables the functionality of the feature - in this case ACC - is time-limited. At the end of the trial period, the FEC will expire and the feature will no longer function.
It doesn't matter if your car has all the necessary equipment installed, which yours obviously does if you are enjoying temporary (trial period) use of the feature. At the end of the trial period, if you have not gone to your VW dealer and paid to "buy" the feature, it will stop working. There is no way to prevent this from happening, the FEC that is currently allowing you the trial period has an expiry date attached to it, and when that date comes, the feature will stop working.
There is no known way to defeat this ability that Volkswagen has to sell 'SoftWAre as a Product' (SwaP). I doubt very much if anyone will find a way to defeat VW's control over this, I am sure they put a lot of thought into the security aspects of this technology.

SwAP for ACC is in the range of 1500-2000 EUR. Only way to get the feature working is to purchase the feature from a dealer or legitimate 3rd party source. No workaround is possible, thr car uses the OCU to constantly connect to VW servers where it checks for the validity of release codes for installed SwAP features.

To solve this, for those of us who have the acc controls but do not have it activated, it would help us a lot to be able to access the coding of someone who does have them to compare them and know what we have to activate.
