I have received the Next Gen OBD11 dongle today and fired it up.

It is a 2009 Jetta 1.6TDi (CAYC)

I cannot however perform the EGR Valve Adaptation using the app.

I purchased the VAG Pro subscription, still the adaptation status has not changed.

I have added the security code 27971 which at least shows as fine, however 12233 does not work, stating (35) Access authorization failed, incorrect Login code - is there something about holding brake and accelerator pedal at the same time to enable this?

Under 'Basic Settings' the 'Basic settings status' is showing as 'not active' and the dropdown selected 'Adaptation of EGR valve' shows as 'Not available'.

What on earth is going on and how to I perform the below equivalent VCDS function?

Also why can't I see this screen that allows me to manually select a channel?

Hi did you find out how to calibrate?
I have a 2007 a4 b7
When I go to engine and adaptation or basic settings it just says unavailable?

whataboutthis: le4dsoldier if you have a pre 2024 VAG motor that is supported and you have the Pro or Ultimate license you can code Adaptions and long Coding but after 2024 SFD2 STOPS YOU. SFD Can be unlocked but basic plan only allows you to use OCA Nov 21, 2024 16:52:53 GMT

whataboutthis: fliew you need to share more info, car year have you coded in obd11 or vcds etc there is no magic button to revert to factory setting you have to undo all your changes manually in Adaptions and Long Coding you can copy/paste if you have backup Nov 21, 2024 16:54:18 GMT
