Don't know if people are active here but I'll try I was gonna look up the misfire counts in the engine module(livedata), but all I got was a bunch of channels(0-255). When I watched a video of this, a list of options popped up and you could choose misfire count sum etc. Like in this video: linkFrom what I understand, the misfire option should be channels 14-16, or am I wrong? But how am I supposed to know what all the channels are for when there's no description on the channels. Is there any way to look up what all the channels are for?

classexa not an expert in this but my understanding is that the Video you watched is for cars with engine control units from 2012 onwards so I am guessing that your car is slightly older and has a different setup.
So for example on my 2014 Cupra I get all the items that are shown on the video (sorry that does not help you)
With regards to names, OBD11 have recently introduced the ability to add names to these items but obviously its down to user community to do the work however if you do some searches on VCDS for this data on your car it should help you find which channels are relevant or somebody here can fill in the missing blanks.
Hope that at least explains why what you are seeing is different to the video's.

Hi Thank you. That does explain why it's different. I've an A6 from 2004. I'll try and search around for some info on the channels. See if I've any luck
