My car always plays the radio station and volume from the previous drive (annoying when you share a car). It would be good if it's possible to always start up the car with Infotainment audio muted, or even remember that I muted the audio on the previous drive.

Hello,
Have you tried car key changing? It should adapt to user.

Unfortunately, it's something that still bothers me even as a single user of the car. If I'm listening to music from the previous drive, it starts up that way too (or even continues with what I was listening to on Spotify in the house when Apple CarPlay connects). I want to hear the cold start and lovely exhaust note of my 'R' on startup! I understand what you're saying, but I share the same key and profile with my Wife (we both can't be bothered with different keys and profiles, especially as it's my car and only occasionally borrowed) I think it's a worthwhile mod that I'd be happy to spend credits on

There is nothing what we can do with spotify, because it's controlled by user, not car. Then I can offer just to try to turn off radio before turning off ignition. We haven't found way to modify these things.

Yes please! If it's possible to mute audio (or volume = 0%) before the ignition turns off, that sounds like it could solve my problem if it restores the last state by default. Seeing as muting audio each time I get in my car is part of my normal startup sequence, I have noticed that Apple CarPlay (+Spotify) can sometimes auto play and raise/restore the volume straight after I've just muted the audio... so I have to do it twice. However, that might be a separate CarPlay setting I can control myself. I'm just letting you know my frustrations and I'll spend credits on what you can do for me! Thanks

I've just been looking through my settings and noticed "Maximum switch-on volume". But, it won't let me set it to anything less than 3. I'm wondering if this might be the easiest way to fix my problem? Could OBDeleven allow me to set this to zero?

Here is a video showing that my radio comes on with a volume of 3 when I start the car up. It also shows where I've found the setting for this in the menu, but it won't go lower than 3:
If OBDeleven could modify this to be zero, it would fix my problem!

Sorry, but seems like there is no option to change this.

OK, I was hoping my solution with an existing setting might have been the easiest way to fix the problem. If it's not possible to change this value, is there any other way to fix this? Is it possible to code it so that the radio or the whole infotainment turns off automatically when the ignition is turned off?

As I said before, there is no such a option to change this via coding.
