Hi guys. In my Golf Mk7 (2015) the windows do not close automatically when it rains. I followed the instructions I found on the forum: Closing due to rain 1. Select control unit 09 (Central Electricity) Security access Access code 31347 2. Adaptation 3. (15) Access control 2-Regenschliessen_ein_aus 4. Value: Permanent 5. (16) Access control 2-Regenschliessen_art 6. Value: Permanent 7. (28) Access control 2-Menuesteuerung Regenschliessen 8. Value:Active 9. Select control unit 09 (Central Electricity) 10. Control unit long coding --> 11. Subsystem: Rain/Light Sensor (RLS) -> 12. Byte 0 -> 13. Bit 1-Bit 2 Activate And it doesn't work, what do I have to do or what am I doing wrong? Regards.
EDIT: bits 4 and 7 were already marked before encoding.

Now I haven't checked your coding. But I know from my own experience with my Golf BJ 2015 that at some point in 2014 VW made changes to the central electrical system Module 9 and the "light-rain" sensor, and thus simply omitted the function. So even with correct coding, it no longer works on later vehicles, like ours from 2015.
The only solution would be to restore the central electrics and light-rain sensor to the status before the factory change. It certainly won't be easy to get the right "old" parts. I haven't tried it myself because it's too complicated for me. However, there are articles on the web that recommend it as a solution. Take a look at forums on the web for “rain closing from model year 2015” if you want to try it.

Hi Halcón. I have already searched for information on the forum and can't find it. I'll do what you say and see if I'm lucky. Thank you.

Golf 7 RL-Sensors wont work with Rainclosing. You need one from Audi.

Do you know for sure the reference of the control module I should buy and make sure it works?
It would be a mistake to buy a control module and then have it not work.

The part number of the sensor is described in the linked post from the Skodaforum. What I can't tell you is whether your central electrical system (Stg9) and its installed software version interact with this sensor as required. As I said, I didn't pursue it further myself. But ask in the linked forums. Maybe someone there who has successfully changed it and can assess your existing central electrical system (part number and software version) can help you (possibly "Golfi 30" at "Golf 7 Freunde"?).

When i retrofitted the RLFS for Auto light and Auto Rain Wiping, I bought the normal VW aftermarket sensor without the function of rainclosing.
But in this same Topic I'v been given the OEM Number of the Audi Sensor that actually works for Rainclosing.
Its no impossible to find those numbers ;-).
