nickske : Braking (not "breaking") recouperation is part of the Start Stop (SS) function and the battery capacity that is reserved for this function is an essential part of the car's Energy Management System (EMS) - on vehicles that are fitted with SS.
I'm not sure how the EMS will like disabling the recouperation function if this car is factory fitted with SS!
Why do you want to disable recouperation - this car has either a EHB, or AGM battery, which is different to a normal flooded-cell battery?
Anyhow, whilst I suggest that you don't disable recouperation - the software switch for this function is in the Gateway module long-code. It is on Byte 04, Bit 1 - the descriptor is EM_rekuperation.

Thanx for the answer! I would like to disable it because here it's cold, and I like my battery 100%. And it stops with active charging @80% with récupération. I wil try and report the solution. Happy holidays!

I disabled the em_recuperation in adaptation gateway but it didn't solved my problem. It stil only charges when I brake.

nickske : I'm not surprised - as I said, recouperation is deeply embedded into the EMS as part of the SS facility. I'm certainly NOT sure - but I suspect (and I'm guessing) that to gain access to the 20% battery headroom capacity, you would need to disable the entire SS function on this car. Disabling SS on a MQB platform car that was factory fitted with the function is a very non-trivial exercise because SS is integrated into lots of the car's other modules! Don
