Hey all,
I have a brand new Golk MK8 and want to activate a few features using long code.

Some require SFD to be unlocked but it seems OBDeleven is unable to do so or I am doing something wrong.

I open my hood and left door, connect the dongle and app having my cars system powered on without a running engine, perform a full scan, remove all errors but still get an error when trying to unlock Andy console's SFD protection.
I have two way authentication and my profile is up to date and I am using a pro plan

The error shows "something went wrong, try again"

What am I missing?

Did you figure this out? I'm having the same issue with my MK8.

Disregard, this was a global issue with SFD unlock being unavailable and is now fixed.

i have the same problem VW ID4 SFD unlocking F5 unit "something went wrong , try again"

also i try it with on Apps ..inspection reset but Error saying "SFD problem" and it was Jan 30,2024

so is the problem fixed ?? i have the Ultimate plan

The dongle is junk, mine wont connect, and also have sfd error when it did connect
Funny a 10 quid elm dongle connects fine
So £200 quid wasted i think.

Update, it reluctantly started to work, kept refusing to work so I kept clicking activate and then sucess,
Not only does video in motion work it works stationary which it never did before
