Hello, since yesterday I have had an error in several control units. I believe that the trigger is the lane change assistant control unit. Does anyone have an idea what could be defective and where the control unit is installed? I can't delete the errors. The car doesn't show me any errors, but I can no longer activate the assistance systems. Has anyone ever had these errors and can help me? Greetings Jörg

Jörg: Hi.
Can't access your pictures - error says "bad gateway" (internet "gateway", not the car gateway module). Maybe try re-postng?

Hello, thank you for your feedback. I'm one step further. The control unit 3C has lost its coding. I encoded it with the value 02031103. Now I can delete all the errors and everything in the car works well. But if I restart the car, two errors appear in the control unit 3C. Is the control unit possibly defective? The live data shows me that the control unit has a temperature of -39 degrees. I hope you can see the pictures this time. Greetings Jörg

Jörg: Hmm....the 2 x faults on this car are: - B201200 - Data set implausible
- B200500 - Invalid data record
These faults usually mean that there's a bug in module program - likely a problem with the module firmware or with a parameter-related data-point in the module software.
Your screenshots don't show which of the 2 x blind-spot monitors that are in error - but the physical radar modules are fitted behind the rear back panel on a Golf mk7, on either car-side. OBD11 identifies the 2 x blind-spot modules as: - 3C Lane Change Assistant Right
- CF Lane Change Assistant Left
Of course I can't say with absolute certainty - but these type of errors generally occur when the module has been incorrectly coded. So, I'm not sure that the faults on this car are something that can be investigated by pulling apart panels and/or checking wiring looms/connectors.
My hunch (guess, really) is that these errors do NOT have a physical cause - I suspect that this is a coding problem
Were there any attempts made to re-code the the blind-spot modules (or the other driver assist modules) on this car prior to the errors occurring? If so, my ONLY suggestion is to look through the change records in History and revert any of the listed changes to "old value"

Hi Don,
Thanks for your help. I'll look again tomorrow.
The CF Lane Change Assistant control unit left does not appear for me. The errors occurred without me doing anything. I haven't had a plug in the obd port for a long time.
greetings Jörg
