Rear US Blinkers Coding and Video

The following coding is used to make rear Lights and indicators flash (US Style) when using the turn Signal .

As always you make this change at your own risk. I have done it on my car (2014 Cupra) but does not mean it will work on yours.
This car has Scandi DRL (Eg both front and Back lights are on all the time not just the front ones) so some of my settings may be different to yours.

Please take a backup of your setting before you make this change so that if it becomes a MOT issue you will know how to revert back.
Where the instructions say Change to if your settings are the same then go to next step.
When you save the changes if you are asked for a security code the application will provide a code for you to type in.

Option ONE (Inner and Outer Lights together)

(1) Select Control Unit 09 Central Electrics.
(2) Select Adaptions (Code
(3) Select Leuchte23SL (Left Outside Rear Light)

(4) Change Lichtfunktion E 23 to Blinken links Hellphase
(5) Change Lichtfunktion F 23 to nicht aktiv
(6) Change Dimmwert EF 23 to 0
(7) Change Dimming Direction EF 23 to minimize
(8) Change Lichtfunktion G 23 to Blinken links Dunkelphase
(9) Change Lichtfunktion H 23 to nicht aktiv
(10) Change Dimmwert GH 23 to 127
(11) Change Dimming Direction GH 23,maximize
(12) Tick the Green tick box and save the changes

(13) Select Leuchte26NSL LA72 (Left Inside Rear Light)

(14) Change Lichtfunktion E 26 to Blinken links Hellphase
(15) Change Lichtfunktion F 26 to nicht aktiv
(16) Change Dimmwert EF 26 to 0
(17) Change Dimming Direction EF 26 to minimize
(18) Change Lichtfunktion G 26 to Blinken links Dunkelphase
(19) Change Lichtfunktion H 26 to nicht aktiv
(20) Change Dimmwert GH 26 to 127
(21) Change Dimming Direction GH 26 to maximize
(22) Tick the Green tick box and save the changes and backup to list of adaptions

You have now changed the left hand side of your car so you can go and have a look to see if its the same as mine.

(31) Change Dimming Direction GH 24 to maximize
(32) Tick the Green tick box and save the changes and backup to list of adaptions



(33) Leuchte27NSL RC6 (Right Inside Rear Light.)

(42) Tick the Green tick box and save the changes



You have now completed the Right hand side and you can check all your lights.
