Hello, I am new to the forum, I have a question to know if there is any trick or any way to illuminate the volume and climate temperature buttons that are under the screen, it is a very big mistake that they do not come illuminated and in the dark it is not seen.  |

There are no lights. I heard some people glued fluorescent or phosphorescent markers (tactical / fishing utilities) right and left of the sliders

This is an OBDEleven forum.
Nothing can be done via OBDEleven to illuminate the sliders.
In practical use, this is a non-issue.
The turn signal stalk, power seat buttons, etc....
Muscle memory allows me to use all without illumination.

Has no one removed that panel to see if LEDs can be installed? Those slider controls are part of the much larger display assembly that is directly above the sliders. In order to "remove the panel", one would need to remove and disassemble that entire large display. Even if you were to do that successfully without damaging anything (doubtful), you would likely find out that the plastic sliders are opaque and cannot be illuminated from below. Michael |
