Hi there! I'm looking for the way to disable dynamic (sweeping) indicators in Octavia IV 2021 (Europe/Poland). I really want it OFF...
Does anynone know how to do it? My internal logic tells me it's nothing complicated since the feature is active and there was a time in VAG when you could pay extra for activation (afaik e.g. Seat). Now the new VW ID.3 has corresponding option in infotainment (see pic below). I looked everywhere, I know people've seen Octavia or Formentor with disabled dynamic turn signals but I can't find a way to do it.
I checked this VW Golf thread: /10193/turn-off-dynamic-sweeping-indicators and I don't have "Aussenlicht_blinker" category in Adaptations, there is only "Aussenlicht-SG-Architektur" without mentioned options. I can find "Dynamic turn signal control" category but even if I change "Richtungs_blinken_rechts/links" to "not active" the indicators are still dynamic.
BTW. If you open the trunk the signals are not dynamic anymore but the air resistance affects fuel consumption too much...
Pls, help! And have a nice day!

Ok, so this is as simple as it can be, all within one adaptation list.
09 - Central Electrics Adaptations Dynamic turn singal control IPA_RPA_blinken_rechts IPA_RPA_blinken_links Warnblinken_Zeundung_EIN Warnblinken_Zeundung_AUS
All above should be set to "not active".
The first two are for left and right indicator, the second pair is for emergency lights.
Adapation list has a few other dynamic functions to disable e.g. (un)locking car, opening trunk or blinking from the smartphone. Most of them are in English and fully understandable.
There are some lines I don't understand like IPA_RPA_Blinkbestätugung (translated to flashing confirmation) or SWA_blinken_rechts/links - all set to active but despite this everything I'm aware of is blinking classic style.
Hope that helps someone someday.

Dynamic turn signals =/= comfort turn signals. This topic is about dynamic/sweeping indicators, not comfort-lane-change-blinks.

Let me jump in IPA Intelligent Parking Assist (Parking Assist which turns the steering, controls gears and brake - first to be seen in Golf 8.5) RPA Remote Parking Assist (Same, but with nobody in the driver seat, controlling it with your mobile) SWA SpurWechselAssistent (Travel Assist changing lanes on Highways) So no, but Richtungs_blinken_rechts And the corresponding left channel look more promising. Blindly disabling them all should also do the trick

I don't like doing something blindly. Richtungs_blinken_rechts/links you suggested DID NOT work and indicators stayed dynamic.
