Hey guys,
Randomly I got a B1528F1 error on my golf 7.5 . I can't see a pattern and the battery was replaced and adapted (varta agm)
Any ideas where to look for ?

danidasanic : Hi. B1528F1 = Headlight beam adjusting motors Invalid activation voltage There isn't sufficient information provided - there are a few ways that a Golf can be built to control the high-beam motors look at the PR code label for this car (looks like the picture below) - what are the numbers starting with 8? First I want thank you for all your help , you are a reference in this community
Didn't find anything relevant on my sticker and I searched all pr codes on vwplanet. The only pr codes that I have installed starting with 8 is 8ZQ , 8RM and 8GG
I have the basic halogen headlights equipped on mk 7.5 golf (Europe)

OK. When you scan this car with OBD11 - does it report a module like 55- Headlight Range control?
Also does this car have a headlight level adjustment wheel on the dashboard like this:
If so, do the headlights move up/down when the wheel is rotated? Maybe move the wheel rapidly a few time - then try clearing the fault (perhaps there is detritus in the slider mechanism inside the wheel). Does the fault reappear?

Nop , this is the only error I had and it's on Central Electrics . Last two days it didn't show up
This car has automatic headlight leveling system, there's no regulator near the dash
Do you think I should try to clean the level sensor (on the rear axle ?) ?

hmm..... yes, cleaning the level sender is a good starting point
Here is how the rear level-sender is wired: "J519" in my picture is what PBD11 calls central electrics module. As you can see - it's a simple 3 x pin device! When you are cleaning the level-sender, eyeball the 3 x wire electrical connector and the state of the wires (look for signs of damage and/or water ingress)

Yes , I'm going to do that . Thanks again!
What's the meaning of the reference "T73a" , it's the plug in the module ?

Don I've looked everywhere near the rear axle and dind't find anything , neither near the front left axle . I don't have the physical regulator but I can change trough the radio so maybe this is still manual but controlled via the infotainment , right ? The error doesn't seam to be especific to one side

danidasanic: OK, as I said in my first reply - there are a number of ways that headlight aiming happens on a mk7/mk7.5. One of these options for halogen headlights have the rear axle level sensor, but the other option does not have the sensor I'm not aware of the infotainment facility to change headlight aiming - but if you say that on this car the equivalent function for the physical rotating knob is in the MENU, then I guess this is the mechanism that should be investigated for the fault! I also don't have wiring diagrams for this version arrangement - so all I can suggest is to eyeball the state of the 10 x pin headlight connectors. On my wiring diagrams the aiming motor for incandescent headlight is terminated on pin #2. Don
