Hello, can a 70 ampere battery be installed on a golf 8 1.5 TSI 96 KW instead of a 60 amp battery. Could it be adapted?

Every new battery must adapted, size, battery type... Also car collecting power consumption and charging history, adapting new battery reset that log.

Why are you replacing the battery as a matter of interest as this is a fairly new car.
Cant confirm if its ok to increase the AMPS but from a coding perspective its very easy to do.

Because in my "new" car the 12V battery died after 11 months and on my colleague's MK8 lasted almost 16 months. In my 2010 Toyota Avensis I replaced the battery after 13 years.
on all new platforms you have to code the new battery otherwise it will not be charged.

Warranty issue! I saw from ErWin: Some cars have bad sensor (the power management knows battery condition) on battery negative pole. There are recall of that, it will not charge the battery correctly. They import charging history from car to vw and replace them. www.volkswagen.com.au/app/locals/owners-service/service-campaigns-recallsSee if you have the recall, or call your dealer.

In this part of Europe battery (nor other parts like brake pads, clutch, etc) are not part of warranty.
