I received my dongle today with pro subscription.
Plugged it in to car. Had to manually input vin as it wouldn’t automatically retrieve. Correct car came up and it connected.
Proceeded to scan car. Got all the way to module 17 then fails.
If I try to access any modules I get “control unit not responding. Check ignition and try again”
My account is setup correctly. The app automatically connects to dongle.
I have deleted and reinstalled app. I have disconnected and reconnected it to car.
After an hour trying I plugged my caristaapp in to the car. It connected straight away no problem. Scanned the car no problem. And made changes to the modules no problem.
I then connected my icarsoft. Again connected and read codes fine.
I then plugged in my cheap handheld code reader. Even that connected and read codes.
I’m using an iPhone 14 Pro iOS 16. App is the current vag version off the App Store.
Car is MY2014 mk7 golf GTI PP
I have searched this forum and found a couple of posts with similar issues and none seem to be resolved.
Thanks in advance
Mark.

mark: I don't know the answer to your question - but I assume that the ignition was ON! The important aspect of using OBD11 that doesn't normally apply to other diagnostic devices is the quality of the digital connection to the the OBD11 mother-ship in Lithuania. If the App is used in the basement of a building, or in a poor reception area, problems will arise!! My other suggestion is to try accessing the modules directly - rather than via a SCAN - see below Don

Any updates on this? I am receiving the same error message. Tried deleting app, reinstalling and even created a new profile with a different e-mail address. I also tried connecting while the driver door was open and same error message Just got a new Audi S4 2024.

Not sure what OBD11 Shows but new Audi's can be subject to SFD2 (As agains SFD) and currently that is not supported by OBD11 or any of the other tools.
If you run a scan (which I would have thought would work) does it show the brakes control unit as live.
