Good evening, I registered here because I don't know what to do next when activating the cruise control. I installed the buttons and also pulled the additional cable from the steering column control unit to the engine control unit. I activated the cruise control in the engine control unit (byte 5, bit 5 checked). Immediately afterwards the pre-glow lamp starts flashing. I could neither set bit 0 in the steering column control unit nor activate the cruise control. in both cases I get error 31. The correct steering wheel is selected in the gateway. What can't I try or check? Or is activation only possible via a VW dealer with Odis Online? I have received activation documents. I would be happy about any advice.

Just to give a short feedback. On friday my car was at the VW dealer an they were able to activate the GRA with the activation codes I gave to them. Seems to me that Odis online or another special tool is necessary to activate this function.

whataboutthis: zuhair3434 just to confirm you are using the VAG app for your VW and the non VAG app for your BMW, in which case if you are using the non VAG app it should work and show you the OCA. Dec 1, 2024 15:27:09 GMT
