I just bought this and I’m using it with an Audi etron. I want to change just one of the long coding options and am wondering what I need to buy to do this, i.e., can I do this with just credits or do I need to buy a full Pro subscription? If with credits, how do I know how many credits I need for this one change? Thanks in advance.

I just learned that the credits are for specific apps and what I want to do isn’t covered by an app. I want to turn off the phone screen in the cockpit so that when I cycle through it won’t include that screen. The reason is because I always use Apple CarPlay and so the regular phone option isn’t available and so it’s a wasted screen. I see in module 17 there is a choice for phone yes or no and I think that will do it but is buying Pro the only way to do that?

rmsko : Hi and welcome to the OBD11 learning journey.
So, to make manual changes to long-code you will need a PRO account (you don't need the "Ultimate" pack) and likely you will need to read instructions like THIS
One Click Apps (OCAs) can be used with ALL Plans - but you need Credits. As to whether there is a OCA for your tweak - plug-in your dongle and connect to the OBD11 software. When OBD11 reads the car's VIN. it will know the model and chassis type and it will list the OCAs that are available for the car - read THIS
Either way - I suggest that you research the use of the OBD11 software before actually making coding changes.

This is really helpful, thanks so much. I think the one change I want to make is relatively simple - just changing “yes” to “no”, i.e., no real coding is involved. I would think that there isn’t much risk in this because I could always just change it back? I did look through all the apps - thanks for the tip. There really wasn’t anything interesting there though.
