I have a 2015 MK7R with 95000Ks.

Today I got the OBDeleven and used the increased traction tweak. I tried a launch and it launched for a second then cut power with a C111307 error.

The car still drives fine and grips well, but I'm worried that there's something wrong with the haldex. I will rarely launch it but it is possible this is an issue with the tweak or haldex settings? Do I need to do a pump reset? Or is this a much bigger issue with the hardware.

C111307 message is a "Mechanical Failure" error. VW rate this error message as Priority 1 - so an important fault requiring immediate attention! However, given that it appeared after Launch control is significant. If this was my car - I would look at the Freeze-frame data (see HERE).

If this fault is intermittent and if fault frequency=1 - I wouldn't be too concerned. Simply clear the error and take note if the same fault appears again when the car is operated normally (I have never understood why folk want to inflict pain on their cars by using Launch-control)
