Hello All. I am new here.
I have problem with dashboard backlight in my Audi a4 b8. Its all fine when is on Auto mode. But when I turn into normal light, or turning on fog light, dashboard backlight turn off. Only needles are lightning. I dont know what Ive done wrong. Ive played a bit with OBD eleven and long coding. It might be something wrong with light sensor, because my navi also is behaving wrong. When Light are in AUTO mode, maps are in day light, but if I press fx. Fog light they turn into night mode even is day, Can someone help me with it. Its any chance if I install newest MMI software, problem might be solved??

I'm guessing no one has figured this issue out yet? As I am also having the same issue. Works in auto unless I turn on either front or rear fog lights. If I turn either of those on or change to any setting other than auto the backlighting will go out. Needles work, everything reads correctly, but no backlighting. I should also add I have no ability to adjust brightness of backlighting with the dial no matter what setting it's on. If anyone has come along with a solution please let me know! I have the exact same problem and also the centre console buttons don’t light up on my .b8.5 menu nav car back etc
Really need this sorted , all my settings appear to be correct ,
