Hey, is it possible to enable classic cruise control or even ACC if the car only has speed limiter from factory? I could imagine that its missing hardware for ACC but normal CC should be possible right? wbr

No, the hardware is there, but it is missing the correct activations for both. The activations need to come from VW directly and there is no way to obtain them at all - despite the in car shop.

Ok, thank you. So basicly the same like enabling carplay where you need an FEC code right?

Correct. In the G8 Topology even worse, as all FeCs are kept in the Gateway and could be overwritten via the OCU

According the coding list in forum. I think it's possible to enable classic cruise control if ACC rador present. (even no ACC function)
The coding is right there.
Cruise_control_mode -> activate

According to my findings, this is wrong and allows to switch between ACC and CC only when ACC is enabled.
Anyways: You can try it without any harm

Hello,
Have anybody tried it?
I haven't had a OBDEleven at this moment to try it in my unit by myself.
Thanks!
