Hey folks. I recently started getting a "brakepad warning" indicator pop up - Audi A4 2015 (allroad) Initially i was just going to loop the sensor wire, but i remembered i had an obdEleven sitting around which got me thinking if there was a way to disable via OBD11, and less hacking involved.
after some looking around this is what i found worked for me:
Opened Control module 09
Selected Long Coding
Used arrows to scroll right Byte 17
Found Brake Pad Wear Sensor (G37) monitored by BCM (not IC)
Selected and changed to Not Installed
Long Held Checkmark at the bottom to write changes
Restarted the car, the warning light was now gone. Went for a test drive, all seemed well. Restarted the car a few times, no brake warning light.
I assume all that setting does just disables that particular sensor?
