Own a 2016 Audi S3, a while back i replaced the rear shock absorbers, but they are not adjustable, and have no connection to the car to enable to adjustable dampening within each drive mode. Originally this was a quick fix when the original shocks broke, but I have lived with them for a good 18 months and am happy with the ride quality.
Each time I start the car I get a warning and below is the OBD error. Ive seen a couple of similar model cars suggesting a kit to close the connection, but I am struggling to find the right kit. Anybody able to suggets a good place I could source these? I am UK based

Matt: Hi.
I'm not quite sure what is meant by "Ive seen a couple of similar model cars suggesting a kit to close the connection". If you are suggesting that someone makes a kit that can simulate the missing electro-magnetic equipment in the rear shock absorbers - then that would be surprising!! Or maybe you are suggesting that DCC adaptive chassis control can be removed from this car - which I suspect is more doable! I've not personally done this -however. this option would not be easy (I think) given the integrated nature of DCC into the car's DNA. The diagram below shows the equipment for DCC - so, lots of gear for this function
Again, without actual experience of the DCC delete project - I suspect that it would be easier to replace the existing rear shocks with the correct units for DCC!

Thanks Don, really appreciate the detail of your reply. Apologies if I'm not explaining this well. I had seen a similar post regarding a 2015 Seat Cupra where the owner had replaced the shocks and had the same issue. One of the comments suggested purchasing a “kit” that in essence closed the circuit, so the car would then stop showing the error on the dashboard. My guess was these were plugged into the ports where the original shocks were connected. If it is unlikely these would exist, it would certainly explain why I wasn't able to find any I think replacing them with the correct shocks might be the only solution. Thank you for taking the time to get back to me Many thanks Matt
